HeartSine Samaritan PAD-PAK-03 Adult Pads & Battery Cartridge
Most AEDs require you to track two separate expiry dates — one for the pads, one for the battery. HeartSine’s PAD-PAK design solves this by combining both into a single cartridge. When the PAD-PAK expires, you replace one item and your Samaritan AED is completely refreshed and rescue-ready. It’s a simpler, more reliable approach to AED maintenance — and over the life of the device, it’s more cost-effective too.

HeartSine Pad-Pak — quick answers
Which HeartSine models does this Pad-Pak fit?
The adult PAD-PAK-03 fits the HeartSine Samaritan 350P, 360P and 500P. It is not compatible with any other brand of AED.
What’s the difference between the adult and paediatric Pad-Pak?
This adult PAD-PAK-03 is for patients 8 years and older (or over 25kg). For a child aged roughly 1–8 years or under 25kg, you need the paediatric Pad-Pak (PAD-PAK-04) instead.
What exactly is a Pad-Pak?
It’s a single cartridge combining the electrode pads and battery in one — so there’s only one expiry date to track and one item to replace, rather than separate pads and batteries.
How long does it last?
Up to 4 years’ standby life once fitted. It provides over 6 hours of monitoring or up to around 60 shocks, and warns you when it’s low.
How do I know when to replace it?
The Samaritan’s green status indicator and low-battery prompts tell you when the Pad-Pak needs replacing — and each cartridge is marked with an expiry date. Replace it before that date to stay rescue-ready.
